It's that time of the year again (14th-20th May) where thousands of events take place across the UK in order to raise money and awareness for dementia. Organised by Alzheimer's Society (UK), Dementia Awareness Week urges people to put aside their differences to unite against dementia - to urgently find a cure, improve care and offer help and understanding. This year was No Place Like Home's 5th Dementia Awareness Week and our founder, Alison Carter, supported Dementia Action Alliance by helping out on the market stall, with the raffle raising £150!
