Alison was honoured to attend the Buckingham Palace Garden Party in recognition of her work to improve the quality of care and support, particularly in dementia care. The invitation also acknowledged her ongoing efforts to raise awareness and understanding within local communities through voluntary work with national charities, NHS partners, and the Kent Dementia Action Alliance.
Kim joined Alison as her guest, and together they had a truly special day. The occasion was made even more memorable by the beautiful setting of the Palace gardens and the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere, traditional afternoon tea, and sense of ceremony.
A particular highlight was seeing Their Majesties The King and Queen, along with The Princess Royal, in person.

It was a proud and meaningful moment, reflecting the importance of compassionate, community-focused care and the difference it can make to people living with dementia and their families.
