Dementia: Ask the Experts

On 17 September, No Place Like Home was proud to attend and help organise the Dementia: Ask the Experts event at Westgate Hall alongside our partners from Dementia Action Alliance Canterbury. Opened by former Lady Mayor of Canterbury, Keji Moses, the event brought together a fantastic line-up of speakers, including Keith Oliver, national Dementia Envoy and author, Dawn Horne, who shared her lived experience of dementia, and Dr Elizabeth Field, who spoke about living well with dementia. We were also grateful to Boys & Maughan Solicitors and Chaucer Hospital for sponsoring the event. Kim represented NPLH at our information stand, and we hope this successful event will become an annual fixture at Westgate Hall.
