On 25th April, Alison and Rhona were delighted to be invited for a second year running to attend an event to celebrate UK Home Care Association Members rated Outstanding by CQC. The event was held at The Royal Society, London, and was attended by providers from across the country. Apart from celebration, the event was designed to gather feedback from providers on aspects of their service with a view to sharing learning to improve care quality more widely. We were advised that currently, only 171 (3%) of the 6,573 care sector registered providers have been rated Outstanding by CQC. Hopefully, events like this one will help improve that statistic.
