We are delighted to have been shortlisted for a host of different awards at this year's Kent Care Awards - The Home Care Worker Award, The Dementia Carer Award, The Putting People First/ Personalisation Award, Registered Manager Award, Care Team Award and The Care Innovator and ESTHER Award! This latter award is all about delivering truly person-centred care by asking the question 'What matters most to Esther?' rather than 'What's the matter with Esther?'. The ESTHER care model was developed in Sweden a decade ago and is being piloted in a few areas of England, including Kent. Managing Director, Alison Carter, is an ESTHER Ambassador as the ethos of the model fits perfectly with No Place Like Home's approach.
