No Place Like Home's Managing Director, Alison Carter, founded the Dementia Action Alliance for Faversham in May 2014. Every year, we celebrate the national Dementia Awareness Week to raise awareness amongst local residents of the condition. For the past 2 years, we have had a very successful market stall on all 3 market days during Dementia Awareness Week. This year we used the opportunity to raise money via a tombola for the Alliance which will fund future awareness-raising activities. Membership of the Alliance is open to all. We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Faversham as our latest Member.
