Dementia Awareness Week 2014
This year, Dementia Awareness Week was very busy!
Our Managing Director, Alison Carter and her inspiration, mother Leslie Fenn, started celebrations by speaking at the2014 Alzheimer's Show at Olympia. Many families gain huge amounts of encouragement through listening to others' experiences of living with dementia. Feedback from attendees made it feel so worthwhile.
Following on from the conference, Alison and Leslie launched No Place Like Home's Dementia Workshop for Family Carers. Once again, the value of shared personal experience was greatly appreciated by attendees. The next workshop will take place during Carers' Week in June.
