Dementia Drop-in Days
Through our work with the Dementia Action Alliance Faversham, we were asked to arrange some Dementia Drop In Days for two of our local GP Surgeries. The event held on 18th May at Boughton village was attended by five of our DAAF partners and the 25th May Drop In Day at Faversham Medical Practice was supported by Age UK Faversham and Care UK as well as No Place Like Home.
The purpose of these new Dementia Drop In Days is to provide advice and information to the general public about dementia as well as to engage with staff at the GP surgeries to raise their awareness levels. We were delighted to be asked to provide a Dementia Friends session later in July 2016 for all staff at the Faversham Medical Practice!
